The Path of Least Resistance

Biology is constantly changing. It adapts, communicates, and reorganizes in response to disease, treatment, and its environment.

Traditional drug discovery often focuses on a single molecular target. At Stoked Bio, we look at the broader biological system and how its networks change, interact, and drive disease.

By understanding these shifts, we identify new ways to restore healthy function or disrupt the processes that allow disease to persist. This systems-based approach enables us to discover novel mechanisms of action where conventional strategies have fallen short.

Today, our internal pipeline is focused on two complementary applications of biological engineering.

Microbiome Calibration

The microbiome shapes immunity, metabolism, inflammation, and overall health. We develop therapies that precisely adjust how it functions, restoring balance without disrupting the entire microbial community.

Resistance Disruption

Cancer cells and pathogens evolve to survive treatment.

We develop new mechanisms that target the biology of resistance, creating effective therapeutic options when existing medicines stop working.

Together, these focus areas reflect one unified approach:

understanding how biology changes, then developing therapies that either

restore balance or disrupt the mechanisms that allow disease to persist.
